answer 1
It depends, they both have different user interfaces (ui from here on out) sense being the hero s one and blur being the electrify's one. Some like sense some don't and blur seems a little rushed. Thing is you can easily change quite a few feature of these with different launchers/themes. As for specs of the phone the electrify is the clear victor with its dual core tegra 2 processor and 1gb of ram. If you are more of a techie the hero s has a more friendly oem with htc whereas motorola likes to keep it's phones on a tight leash.

Yes it is better than the Hero S. The processor is 200Mhz slower but there are two of them instead of one like the Hero S has which is better especially in the long run as developers begin to realize the abilities of a dual core processor.

answer 5
It's as secure as any other smartphone... If you set your screen to "lock" that prevents anyone from getting into it. If you log out of your bank site, you're logged out.

Email wise, if your company server has Exchange 2010, the administrator(s) can remotely wipe your phone if it's lost or stolen so that no personal data can be retrieved. Otherwise, it's still "secure" enough in regular transmissions of email, and again, if you set a screen lock, it's basically locked...

Hope that helps!

YES!!! I've had my phone for one week and it shuts down 3-4 times a day. It happens when I am trying to make a phone call. Not sure if I have a defective phone, or maybe this is normal for the the Electrify? This is my business phone, and I switched from a Blackberry Curve...I didnt have any trouble with my Blackberry and this is already pretty frustrating. I'll give it another week.

A lot the phone's memory is taken up by the Operating System and the User Interface, so the 16 GB is not the actual amount. After all the original software is put on, and the storage is partitioned into separate sections (e.g. Application). So there is technically 16gb of storage on your phone, but only about 12gb is usable.

No. The cover over the back is a little harder then normal to remove but it is very possible. You can even put extended life batteries in them.

Very wrong, you can easily pop off the back plate (carefully) and remove the battery, add an SD or SIM card.

Question

Speech to text?

I don't seem to find any info on the speech to text and how to do it. I know it is possible but is it user friendly, worth using? What's better to use?

There's a little microphone icon that pops up to the left of the space bar when you go into text a message. It is very user friendly...I use it from time to time while I'm driving. Personally, I prefer the touch keypad...but the speech to text does come in handy when your hands are full. Hope that helps.

The speech to text option should already be in your phone if you have it updated. When sending a message of any kind you can use it by tapping the small microphone button on lower left hand side of touch screen keyboard. It works really great and saves time but you do have to speak clearly or it might confuse what your saying as something else. I have had no issues once I got used to it.

Yes you can do it but I think you may need a app. to do so. I know you can do it searching the web and that's very cool and yes it is very user friendly just touch the small mic. icon on the right of the search bar to use it.
