OMG yes this is very annoying... I'm not a big fan of the camera. Not many options and settings in the camera and this shutter sound is one of them. My opinion on the camera: by today's standards I would give it 6 out of 10.

You can install a program to remove the very annoying shutter sound. Look for the app "Silent Snap" on the market. There is a free and paid option.

On other similar Motorola phones they provide the option to eliminate the shutter sound. I have no idea why the Electrify does not have this option.

Question

Gsm support?

So I've been told many things. "The Elecrify does have LTE" "It's 3G only" "it can roam internationally if you pop in a sim card" "The sim card slot has no function"

What I want to know is if it does or doesn't have:
International Roaming
If yes for International roaming, what frequencies/bandwidths
A sim card
LTE (4g) support eventually
if yes LTE, then will it need a software/hardware upgrade when they launch the 4G network

Thanks in advanced?

It is all good to go for the 4G.
It is world phone capable but you need a sim card for the country you are going to.
For example, your going to Iraq, you get a sim card for Iraq and your covered. I don't know what your bill will be but your phone will work.

Don't know what frequencies sorry
You have to buy the sim card
I'm pretty sure it will have 4g support
You will most likely need a upgrade

This phone is a copy of the phantom 4g so it should have about all the same features and I'm sorry if Im wrong but I did do some research !

Make sure you close down your apps dont just hit the home button all the time. Turn off the vibration, turn off wifi, gps and bluetooth when not in use. Go to settings and turn down your brightness and adjust your screen timeout. Go to your task manager and end apps that your are not using. Don't have a animated wallpaper. Turn down the ringer volume. Charge when it gets to 20% and charge with it powered completely off.

If you need it to last longer in general that's hard but here are some ways! Turn the screen brightness down! Take off the widgets like weather stuff because the phone is keeping them ready if you click on the screen! Turn of you phones if you not going to be using it for an hour because it has to standby and be ready if you get a text message!

Yes, but Gorilla glass is NOT unbreakable. My son had his phone for a month, it fell from his pocket while sitting on a chair, so about 2 feet up. It landed on a wood floor, but when it hit the floor it hit just right on the corner of the phone. The glass now has a spider web design accross the front of it. (breaking the glass voided the warranty and the insurance, so he's stuck with it!)

answer 5
It's as secure as any other smartphone... If you set your screen to "lock" that prevents anyone from getting into it. If you log out of your bank site, you're logged out.

Email wise, if your company server has Exchange 2010, the administrator(s) can remotely wipe your phone if it's lost or stolen so that no personal data can be retrieved. Otherwise, it's still "secure" enough in regular transmissions of email, and again, if you set a screen lock, it's basically locked...

Hope that helps!

It's really personal preference but I have to go with the hero s the motorola electrify has a dual core 1 GH processing system which is really fast and the htc hero s has a one core 1.2 GH processing system so they really even out. Htc sence is really nice and you will really like the personality you can add to the phone when the motorola electrify is nowhere close and is really just stock android which I really don't like the htc hero s has a 4 in display and the electrify has 4.3 in display. And so one but they really are even so it's just if you need a bigger screen go with the electrify if you want to really make the phone you! Go with the hero just go try them out!

Not sure about the Itunes, but I use the Motorola Music app installed and it works great. It has a kickstand and allows the sound to work better than other phones and has a cool kickstand mode to accomondate it. You can also download music from Amazon MP3, but would not recommend using that for playing the music. My phone would freeze up when someone called.

Yes you can put your tunes from iTunes, and yes it is a great music phone. The included ear buds are the best I've ever listened through.

This can sync with iTunes. However, I had issues with the software loading on Windows Vista, but it works fine with Mac. You can download the software from Motorola's website.

The Electrify sound with headphones is equal to the iPod touch for music, Pandora and netflix. I haven't tried to transfer music from itunes yet, since I'm traveling.

It comes with Motorolla Media Link which get's installed when you first plug the phone into your computer. The program makes it very easy to transfer all your music, podcasts, video's, etc to your phone. You can even transfer music based on your itunes playlists.
