How do I stop the notifications, even the vibrate from Facebook messages?

Open the Facebook app and hit the Menu button (the 4 squares) and go to Settings. From there you should be able to disable all notifications.

They could be on your SD card, if you hook up to a computer and find the DCIM folder. If they aren't there I'm sorry to tell you that they are lost.

I use Google+ simply for it's "Instant Upload" feature. That why any photo I take will be uploaded to a private photo album only accessible to me. You can set it to upload via WiFi only or WiFi & mobile networks.

Question

Web browser problem

Just recently, my web browser will only open into landscape view. I don't have this problem with any other app and it always happens. The box in settings for "auto rotate" is on. I have tried removing the battery and restarting, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

This device has a very sensitive accelerometer, so you may be holding it at a sharp enough angle its going to landscape. Two suggestions: either go to settings and change your orientation, or download Maxthon browser, it always opens in portrait mode.

Yes it does. I have to charge my phone every 3 to 4 days. Usually, you have to charge an Android everyday.

my phone is not turning on why is this

when I push the power button after turning my phone off ( turn the screen off) it won't turn on I have to turn keep pushing the button and holding the button aventually the screen will turn on why is this?

Question

Why is my week-old phone being so lagy and unresponsive?

My Electrify is running much slower than normal and I keep getting a message saying that the application I am running is not responding. It says "Not Responding(whatever app or service is running)" and has the options to force close or wait below it. It does this on almost everything I can open, for example: Contacts, social networking apps, almost everything, etc. etc. I just got this phone a week ago. I've tried quitting out of all of my apps and trying again, didn't work. Turning off and turning it back on, doesn't work. It's really frustrating. I'm only using just over 1gb of on-phone storage, and my ram usage is always below 50% out of what is available. Help?

Take it into a corperate store and have them do a master reset to factory settings and reset it up....also check battery for any water damage..see if there is a red or pink line on battery....humidity/rain can cause a problem.

It could be one of a dozen different problems.

---There could be dirt or gunk in the charging port
Use an air compressor to blow out the port, or take a toothbrush and some 99% rubbing alcohol to scrub it out.

---There could be a kink in your USB cable
---The pins in the micro USB plug could have bent or broken
---Your charger could have blown (this happens a lot on old wiring)
Do you have any other micro USB devices? See if any of them can charge on that charger. Try your Electrify on multiple chargers as well.

---The pins in the micro USB port could have bent or broken
---The micro USB port could be breaking free from the circuit board
Does the charger wiggle when it's plugged into the phone? Does the phone charge when you push the charger in a certain direction? If so, this will need a professional repair. Take it to the store and the tech guys can fix it for a couple bucks.

Question

Anyone have problems with the screen timeout when charging your phone?

I have my phone set on screen timeout after so long. It works when my phone isn't on the charger. It use to work when it was charging as well. But now the screen stays lit the whole night, it doesn't dim or anything. I have to press the top button in order for it to timeout. Can someone please help me?

Go to Menu --> Settings --> Applications --> Development --> Stay awake.

Stay Awake is used by developers to prevent a phone from timing out while it's plugged into a charger or data port. Chances are this was set when they transferred your contacts and they forgot to set it back again. Enjoy the phone!

The Electrify can prevent some apps from accessing the web unless you're on WiFi. This was meant as a way to save data, but it seems to get activated by accident sometimes.

Go to Menu --> Settings --> Battery & data manager --> Data Saver --> uncheck the box

This should fix the problem! If you still can't install apps, take it to a service tech and they can wipe the phone for you.

Turn the phone off and turn it back on, this will reboot everything. If that doesn't work, try taking the battery out and putting it back it. Maybe it has not recognized that you downloaded the newest version.

Under the battery cover next to the battery itself there is a slot for micro sd and a slot for sim card.

Archive pictures to sdcard

How can I acrchive/move my pictures to the sdcard? and will that screw up the gallery that you see when you open the gallery app?

Also is there a way for it to automatically save to the sdcard? I am reluctant to to it manually dont know what folder they would go in or where to create it on the card, and what about those thumbnail images I see when i browse the folders in the phones memory

Usually when you put in the micro sd card in it will automatically ask you if you want to move your storage location to the card and move pictures you have already taken to it.
