Not sure about the Itunes, but I use the Motorola Music app installed and it works great. It has a kickstand and allows the sound to work better than other phones and has a cool kickstand mode to accomondate it. You can also download music from Amazon MP3, but would not recommend using that for playing the music. My phone would freeze up when someone called.

ELECTRIFY!! I had both. I got rid of the merge as soon as the electrify was available. The merge as a very very small memory and would freeze up alot. The slide out keyboard was nice but not worth it. My 5 autistic son plays with now.

Motorola Electrify is better by far. It has dual core 1.2Ghz or 1200Mhz processor while the merge has a 800Mhz processor. Plus the merge has already had an official upgrade meaning it will probably not get another but the electrify may get an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich.

Apples and Oranges, Electrify has more memory, and a much faster processor. The Merge has a physical keyboard and the Electrify is touch screen only. It just depends on how important a physical keyboard is to you.

My wife has the HTC and pushed me to the new release of the Electrify. Unfortunately the Electrify came to market to soon with to many software bugs and even the user manual has dead wrong instructions. It appears to have been released as a Beta.
So simply because her phone is performing as promised and mine is not the nod goes to HTC...
Now if the Electrify performed as promised it would be a different circumstance.

Yes you can. Press and hold and it'll give the option to uninstall. You can also delete from the manage applications list. Any app the is able to be moved to your sd card is able to also run from your sd card. Your phone wont let you move it otherwise. I recommend the app "app 2 sd" it'll let you know which ones wont function properly if moved.

Yes, but Gorilla glass is NOT unbreakable. My son had his phone for a month, it fell from his pocket while sitting on a chair, so about 2 feet up. It landed on a wood floor, but when it hit the floor it hit just right on the corner of the phone. The glass now has a spider web design accross the front of it. (breaking the glass voided the warranty and the insurance, so he's stuck with it!)

No, it's all or nothing. You either need enough points to buy the phone, or it will cost. You can't split the difference.

answer 1
It depends, they both have different user interfaces (ui from here on out) sense being the hero s one and blur being the electrify's one. Some like sense some don't and blur seems a little rushed. Thing is you can easily change quite a few feature of these with different launchers/themes. As for specs of the phone the electrify is the clear victor with its dual core tegra 2 processor and 1gb of ram. If you are more of a techie the hero s has a more friendly oem with htc whereas motorola likes to keep it's phones on a tight leash.

answer 2
Yes it is better than the Hero S. The processor is 200Mhz slower but there are two of them instead of one like the Hero S has which is better especially in the long run as developers begin to realize the abilities of a dual core processor.

If you're looking to put Windows Phone 7/7.5 onto your Electrify, it's just about impossible. If you're looking to connect your phone to your Windows based computer, just hook it up to the computer and wait for the drivers to install. I'm not entirely sure what question you're asking.

No. It's an Android phone. Gotta get it with the Android operating system, which is Linux based. Better, in my opinion, since Linux is more stable, and 100% nerd approved.

Question

Is the Calendar application as versatile as my blackberry calendar?

I chose a BlackBerry for my last phone solely because of its scheduling/calendar features are so versatile. I am very busy and have a rotating schedule at work. Will the Calendar on the Electrify allow me to input an event that repeats every third day, or every other Tuesday?

I have had several BB before I bought an Electrify in Feb and the calender is much better on a BB. BUT I am sure if I look around I can find a calender app thats more like the BB. In my opinion this is a much better entertainment phone than a BB, but without purchasing and replacing the stock apps not much of a business phone.

The calendar has a few different options for scheduling things, you can, do it daily, weekday(mon-fri), weekly(every tues), monthly(every last tues of month), monthly(every month on day 29), or yearly(every year on nov 29)
I had a blackberry before and I used my calendar for everything, and now with the electrify I am not having any issues with using the calendar for everything. So for me the calendar is great and versatile.

the options for repitition are as follows: Daily, every weekday, weekly(every thurs for ex), monthly on day, monthly on date, yearly.

that being said, androids are so much more customizable than blackberrys, you can download different calendar apps that will have the option you are looking for.

I had a blackberry, and i'm glad i switched to this phone, no doubt in my mind that android is a better os.

When in your library for your pictures, press and hold the picture you want to delete, a menu will pop up and delete is one of the options. OR when you are viewing the picture you want to delete hit the menu button(four little square button beside the home button) there is a delete option there too.
