Yes, you can port your number. Do not disconnect your present number if you want to port it. Once they port it for you, it will disconnect your prior service. But, if you cut it off first, then they cannot port the number.

How on earth do I set up my voicemail?

I'm stumped. I go to voicemail set up and all it does is show my own number. Do I call my own number to get some type of walk-through prompts???

1, Go to dialer, the first icon at the bottom of your home screen;
2, Press the setting key(the 3rd hard key), click "Settings"
3, Click the last menu option "Speed dial", you can set 9 speed dial except 1 reserved for voicemail which can be set under the menu "Voicemail".

Question

Why won't other chargers work on my phone anymore?

So the charger that came with the phone is old, and worn out, so I went and bought a new one. It worked fine for a bit, and now the phone won't accept that charger, or other chargers that will fit into the phone. I know the chargers are working, because when I plug them into other devices it will charge them. I'm currently using my cousin's charger, although this charger is kind of faulty, and may die soon, and when that does, I won't have any charger to charge my phone with. What do I do?

That is strange. I would recommend that contact ZTE about the issue, because it may be a faulty device. If the same charger works with other phones, but not yours then I would say there's an issue with your phone. Also, are you using a wall plug or is the charge connected to a computer? If you're wall charging it try using the USB connection, vise-versa. Hope that helps!

Oh.... that was something I should have put in my review! You don't! You have to swipe downward on your home screen and then you will see if you have had a call or a text message. Not a good way for this at all. Glad you brought that up! Hope this helps.

I'm somewhere texting my wife, all the people around me hear beep beep boo beep beep.

There is a setting in your "texting" screen that will allow you to turn off the texting beeps..... and I might be wrong and it is in your regular phone settings, but the setting is there and I think for sure it is in the "texting" settings, which if you are on the texting screen, if you touch the 3 little lines at bottom right or could be top right, hard to remember now (I sent mine back, but did figure out how to do all those things), a menu will open up and you will see " settings". If either of these are not right, you can dial 611 from your phone and customer service are wonderful and very helpful. But I think you'll get it.

If you're sending it as a text message just click on the attachment icon and it will give you the option. Other then that I click the Share button.
