Question

Does it have a slot for a MicroSD card?

I have a microSD with all my music stored on it and would hate to have to re-download hundreds of songs to a new phone...

Question

My speaker on the back, next to the camera, is being really weird and working under specific circumstances, what's wrong?

My phone works to full capacity other than this one problem. My speaker on the back is being really weird. If I play music, it wont play out the speaker. If i plug headphones in, i can hear the music through them. When I get a text message, it plays very quietly through the speaker and quietly through headphones if they're plugged in. I have the volume all the way up, even in settings. If i get a call, i can hear my ringtone just fine through the speaker, and through headphones. Is there something in the settings that I changed on accident? I haven't played around in the settings since the day i got it, three months ago.

Sounds like a software problem! I'll give you a step by step process in order to POSSIBLY fix the problem. (READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE DOING SO PLEASE!)
1. Open Settings
2.Go to Sound
3. Go to Volumes at the top.
4. The third one to the bottom, there will be a Volume bar under Notifications. slide that all the way to the right.

Call up U.S. Cellular and explain the problem.

Question

phone shutting down

I have had the Electrify M for 12 days now and for the past 3 nights it has shut down while charging. I know it is not asleep as when my husband called it went straight to voicemail. I have to hit power+down to restart the phone. Any idea as to what is going on? I use the phone for an alarm clock and have a very sick mother who needs access to me at all times. I don't want to change phones but I need on that works all the time. No other problems with the phone.

I plugged my phone into the wall charger and it would freeze and shut off and will not turn back on. It would randomly turn on but now it has frozen and will NOT turn on and it is nearly impossible to take out my battery.

I too have had issues with powering off the Motorola Electrify M. My first phone totally crashed after 5 days use, follwing set up by US Cellaular staff. It shut itself off and when i finally got it to power on it would not shut off. Then I charged it overnight (even though it was showing battery power left) and was able to shut it off, but it never came back on again. Got a replacement from US Cellular. (who also could not turn the dead one on).My second phone worked for a week and three days. I was having trouble staying connected to WiFi even though two other people with I-Phones were not having any issue in the same room. I powered off the unit (hoping that a re-boot might help). It came back on with asn unidentifiable icon that is not in the manual nor coming up in any Google search (and it’s a Google product!). It was a green tube with four doors and one was open and there was a red exclamation notification icon on it. However, touching screen or buttons did nothing to get more info or even start the phone. I plugged it into a charger (even though it had 60%+ power left before I shut it off) and the icon went away and the phone rebooted. But now I am afraid to shut it off.

BE sure to clear you app cache frequently. I had the same problem & that keeps mine on. Hope this helps!

Question

Problems with bluetooth

I was using my Motorola Electrify M with the bluetooth in my car without problem. Then all of a sudden people could not hear me and I could not hear them. I took my car to the dealer and they found nothing wrong with it and multiple people there were able to use their phones with the car without problem. Is anyone having this same issue and if so how can it be corrected?

Does the phone have a speaker mode? if so, how is it activated?

Sometimes it would be convenient to set the phone on speaker mode. I cannot find how to switch it on from the manual.

while you are talking on the phone, there is a speaker button at the bottom middle of the screen. turn it on.

bluetooth wont turn on.

My bluetooth will not turn on. It will show a security problem after attempting. I have tried to restart and reboot without success. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem has been solved. My companies it department disables bluetooth when I enable the email on my phone. So it appears to be either bluetooth or email.

Downloading apps

My phone won't actually download apps. How do I get it to go farther then just accepting and saying its going to download then never doing so? I don't want to lose all of my pictures and stuff on my phone.

option #1:Connect the phone to you pc with a usb cable. A screen should pop up asking how to view files. If it doesn't pop up go to my computer & select your device.

Option #2: If your pc is Bluetooth compatible you can send your pictures through Bluetooth.

Note~ you should be able to send files to & from you pc & vice versa by using one of these methods.

Question

Change Mail disposition setting.

New to this phone and while setting it up I made the wrong choice on how to handle mail. When I swype it away it stops me and asks where do I want to send it. I have decided I want another chance to make a different choice but I can't find anywhere on the phone to change it. Help!

Question

How to turn on the Motorola Electrify M?

So I turned off my phone last night and when i woke up to turn it on and it did not turn on and when I charge it the green light comes on. I have tried just holding down the power button and nothing also I have tried the power button and the Vol. down button too and nothing. Also my phone gets really hot when i try this. Any suggestions on how to get it to work?

if your phone freezes up you have to reset it. If you hold the power button and the volume down button in simultaneously for 10 to 15 seconds this should reset your phone.

HOW CAN I SEND OUT A MASS TEXT TO MORE THAN ONE CONTACT? I HAVE TRIED TO CREATE A GROUP AND DO IT THAT WAY BUT I CANT IT TO WORK.

Open your text messaging and in the upper right corner there's a + sign, click on the and then you can enter several contacts in. I've never done more than 6 so I don't know how many it will allow. Hope this helps!

Do you by chance know how to edit a video or how to send one? It always says its too long but I cant even find how to edit to make it shorter!

You could get it without upgrading through the stores through the 25th, but it costs more. They are stopping all upgrades without new plans. It was supposed to be 7-18, but that is now for online. (Although they told me it already stopped at 5:00 on the 17th.) They extended the stores deadline until 7-25. Spent over three hours on the phone verifying that while trying to make an upgrade.

The no contract thing...it is a two year agreement! Draw your own conclusions!

We were customers before and upgraded using BOGO on this phone. Not sure how this phone compares to others, but beware that it locks up. I have had one or two in 3 months but my wife has a couple each week.

Check your charger. The prongs broke on my daughter's one week old charger and the store said it was the second one they'd seen recently.

If that is not the problem, take it in the store.
